My trip to Shenzhen

On December 25-26, my family and friends went to shenzhen with me. We rode the train to Lok Ma Chau station, then we walked and walked.

When we arrived at Shenzhen, we took a coach to the Master club Hotel. Next , we ate lunch. After lunch, we made some porcelain.

Then we went to a park and had a ride on some kind of electric boats. Then we went to Jusco. Later in the day, we went to the hotel, had dinner then slept.
The next day was pretty fun. We first ate breakfast, then went to buy sme cooking tools. The fun part was massaging. we took about three hours to massage.

After the fun parts, we went home. This trip was a happy trip and I hope to enjoy another trip with a fun part like massaging!

Cub scout's investiture ceremony

On Saturday, the new cub scouts had the investiture ceremony. We had a rehearsal before the ceremony, and then after rehearsing, the ceremony arrived. I also had to remember few chinese words, and had to recite it.

After the ceremony, we played some games. One game's instruction is like this: First you have to make a circle. there is a hula- hoop, and you have to try to make the hula-hoop go through everbody's head, hands, legs, and body in no time. Thn whatever teaam got the hoop through their whole bodies, they win.

Another games' instruction is like this: Your group captin has to go see some food in a paper. Then the next person comes and the group captin has to tell the next person what he saw. then they keep telling each other what they saw until the last person. When the message comes to the last person, he/she has to write it down on a paper. And whichever group wrote down the most things right, they win.

After the games, we ate lots of diffrent kinds of yummy food. There are sweet food, sour food, you name it. Then after that, we went back home.

Cub scouts is fun!

My trip to the beach

At Chung Yeung Festival, my family and I went to the Gold Coast beach.

Before I went there, I grumbled and grumbled because I did not have anything to do at the beach.

But when I went there, I realized that there were many things to do.

First, we put down our things. Then, I played with sand and built a mountain.

Shortly after, I went to the water and played with water. But when I went to the water, there were many seashells on the sand.

Then, I went back and built a thing surrounding the mountains.

Finally, we had to go home.

Tony's birthday

Today was my big brother Tony's birthday, so my parents said that Tony could drink Coco-Cola and do other stuff that he couldn't do on these normal days.

After my family went to church, my brother chose to eat Ruby's Tuesday - a very expensive American restaurant. Tony ordered a pretty large Baked Cheese burger, which was served with fries. I ordered kid's meal - Hot Dog served with fries.

Next, we went to Baleno and bought a pair of jeans and clothes for Tony as a present.

Later, we got on the car and Dad drove us to Aunt Judy's home.
We played some video games.

Shortly after, we went swimming. Then, we ate dinner in a Japanese restaurant.

I hope that my brother could improve his behavior because he's now eighteen.

Ngong Ping 360

Mom had two visitors from Cambridge University. They both came from England - a country in the Atlantic Ocean. Their names are Dr. Barnes and Dr. Henderson.

We met at Tung Chung. Then we went to buy tickets and took a cable car to Ngong ping. We saw the Buddha, too.

Next, we went to visit the chopsticks Gallery and drank some herbal tea.

Shortly after, we caught a late movie called monkey's tale. Then my brother Tony and I got some ice-cream. Then Tony and I walked all the way up the the buddha - without giving up.

Walking up the buddha is hard work because there was more than two-hundred steps. I was surprised that I could walk more than two-hundred steps - and when I was walking up the staircase at school, I would feel exhausted and tired.

After that, we ate at Vegetarian Restaurant. Then, we took a group photo.

Finally, we took cable car back to Tung Chung.

I had fun in this outing, and I'm looking forward to have another fun day like today.

Boy Scout

When I was much younger, I saw kids wearing scout's uniforms and I imagined that I would look cool if I wore those uniforms, either. But I was in an internatinal school and they didn't have scout's school. But in where I lived, I saw kids wearing scout's uniforms, too. So I joined the scout's team of my housing estate.

Yesterday, my mom and I went to Scout center in: 11th floor,8th Austin Road, Jordan. But it was not that easy. It was because when I copied the adress on the internet, I carelessly forgot to copy the street number. So when my mom and I went to Jordan, we did not know where to go, so my only idea was to ask the shop staff. But that was not where my hard task was. My hard task was when I got to the scout shop.

When I got there, I got a little nervous and wondered what to say. Finally, I got into the line and I asked if this was the right place to buy scout's stuff.

Luckily, the staff just took my paper and gave me the right things I needed to buy. And I did not have to complete my second task. Here, I ll tell you what I had bought that day: 1 beige colored shirt, A pair of green shorts, 1 scout hat with a badge stuck to it, 1 belt that fit me, a pair of long green socks, 4 badges in a pack with: membership badge, a Hong Kong badge, a N.T. badge, and a Shatin badge, A scout handbook, a scout record book, and a pair of black shoes with laces.

After I got back home, I could not help myself to tell mom to help me put on the badges. While she was doing that, I did my homework.

I hope I can have a good time being a boy scout.

The Second time I met Harold

Harold and I had another fun day. This time me and my Mom went to Harold's house. When I first came to his house, my eyes almost popped out of my head. It was because their house was cleaner than my house although they have lived in the house for five years.

First, we played English scrabble. Next, we played Traffic Control Airport. I realized that the game was hard but after we got used to it, it would be easy. And then we ate lunhc. We had pasta and chicken wings. It was delicious.

After lunch, we played some computer games such as Monster Truck, Boxhead 2 play rooms, and some others. I actually introduced the Boxhead 2 play rooms game to Harold. He thought it was fun too.

Harold also lent me three Ready Freddy series books. I was supposed to read them at home, but I secretly read two of the books.

Next we ate some jelly. And then we played table-tennis in the clubhouse. After we played table-tennis, we both played lego and remote bus.

Then we played Animal chess. At first I thought it was very boring but then I found out that I was wrong. It was fun. I also learnt that a rat could eat up an elephant.

After that we ate pizza ordered from Pizza Hut for dinner. After dinner, we continued playing Animal chess. And then Auntie Becky, Harold, and I taught Mom how to play Uno.

Mom called Dad to ask where he was. She was suprised to know that Dad's car was already waiting downstairs for a long time. Dad also said "Slow down whatever we were doing." Harold said "He said slow down! Let's play more!"

Finally at 9:30 I had to go home.

And then we said goodbye. Only that is not the end of this because when I got home, I called Harold on the phone and we confirmed that Harold and Auntie Becky will come over to my house on 8 August at 11:00 am, which is the day of the Beijing Olympics.

I will see Harold soon.

Having a fun day with my friend Harold

On Tuesday, my friend Harold and Auntie Becky came over to my home. We had a fun day.

First, when Harold came over, we ate some jelly my mom made the other day. Then, we went to my clubhouse and played table tennis for an hour.

At first, it was very fun. But after I got used to it, it was boooring ... boooring ... AND ... boring. After that, we went back to my home and I showed Harold how to make 'Pineapple Pizza Bread.' Then we asked each other riddles. I even took out my riddle book. But for now, if you ask me, that is just wrong. Because I don't excactly have the book back. I lent it to Harold.

Next, I took out some games to play. We played Bingo and Chinese Checkers. Before we started to play, we were boasting that how we were sure that we would win. Then I took out my English scrabble. At first, I passed a lot of times. But later, I got lots of chances.

After that, we ate dinner that Tony cooked. It was yummy! (Really, I did not eat much of Tony's pasta. Instead, I ate a lot of spaghetti that my maid cooked)

Finally, we finished the game of scrabble. When I got a triple word, I could see that the excitement on his face had gone away.
I tried to cheer him up. Only finally, something very wonderful happened! I helped him get 24 marks! That seemed to cheer him up. He murmered, "Thank you."

At last, Harold got home. We both had a wonderful day. I will go to his home on August, 5. I hope we will have a fun time.

Happy birthday!

Today is mom's birthday. This morning, I woke up in early morning (Don't tease me again, Uncle Paul) in around 8:20. I was very tired. I had to wake up early because I had to make a birthday card for Mom. I wrote it in both English and Chinese.

We went swimming in the Clubhouse. I say that Tony is a shark. I can swim very fast, too. Mom swam very slowly. Only Tony and I were the ones who know how to swim. I taught Mom how to swim breast stroke at home. I'd already known how to swim breast stroke, back stroke and freestyle. I can do a somersault in the water, too.

That night, we ate at a restaurant in Newtown Plaza, Level 7.

I think Mom had a very enjoyable birthday.

Tony is blogging too!

I had never ever thought that an autistic and very agitated brother would have a blog. That was some kind of issue, I think.

Tony's blog: http://tonyisblogging.blogspot.com/

Well, anyways, I really never thought Tony was very thoughtful and clever that wrote a blog. Even though he was not very good in grammar, such as nouns, verbs, adjective, adverb, past tense, present tense, past participle, and plurals; he was not very forgetful. He is also very positive. Weird for an A person, right?

Sure, of course I certainly hope he can improve, but he also deserves the praise. Here is a poem I wrote that describes him:

Tony is positive and clever,
I'll love him forever,
Because he is my only brother;
who is way better!

An oeey gooey poem

The worms go in, the worms go out.
They crawl in your stomach,
And out through your mouth.
Your teeth decay, your body turns gray.
And that's the end of the wonderful day.

My new business

Some kids make money by doing chores. I mean, like clean the garage, or sweep the floor, or maybe even make your bed. I mean(Again!), why make your bed?, You're just going to unmake it later.

So by now I bet you are wondering what my new business is. That is what I'm going to tell you right now. A detective, that's what! So I solve mysteries. Only I just have 1 mystery. Mine! My mystery.

I wrote it in my detective journal of Gareth Chan, A.123fdgs. That was my account.

But guess what? When you solve mysteries, you are hoping for money,
right? But my card just looks like: Need a big mystery solved? Call Gareth Chan, Agent 123fdgs. For a dollar a day, I make problems go away! My first mystery was called The Case Of The missing Yo Yo.

Thank goodness that I found my Velocity (that's my yo yo).
I hope that I will have MORE mysteries to solve.

Well, maybe that you think I LOVE money, but I actually use those dollars to offer at church.

What I am thankful for

This is a poem about what I am thankful for:

I am thankful for:

My family that keeps me company,
My friends that make me happy,
The food that God has made for me,
The eyes that God has made me see;
My friend Harold,
That God had given to me!

This is another poem about what I am thankful for:

My good parents that NEVER betray me,
My friends and brother that doesn’t go away,
The mouth I have God let me SAY!
The freedom that God let me choose my way,
The bedroom bed that I can lay,
The model that is made of clay,
Which I could PLAY!

Fun day with my cousin Brian

I visited my elder cousin named Brian on Sunday. We had fun altogether with Tony, my brother. He brought us to the outdoor swimming pool in South Horizons.
That is pretty far away from my home. Yeesh.
We swam for about an hour. I can swim in the shallow water, where I can stand, and in the deeep water; where I cannot stand up straight.
I can swim Free style, Back stroke, and Breast stroke. (Ha Ha Ha!) I can swim fast, too. But I just swam very slowly because I just wanted to relax in the water. That was very fun(Only in the shallow water).
In the deep water, the water was sooooooooooo cold. Brian swam, too. But I think Tony can swim a little faster.
The swimming pool was very big. It is not a shape of a sqaure, though. It is a shape of a Mickey Mouse face+ears.
I can swim the whole pool in about 1:45.
I hope to swim with my cousin again

My "jigsaw jones" series

My mom bought me the Jigsaw Jones series. My favorite book is The case of the Food fight. Well, I guess I named my book, The case of the missing haunted house, after James Preller;who is the author of this series. Anyways, as I read that book, I noticed that Jigsaw, who is the guy who tells the story, is a detective. He likes to solve mysteries, drink grape juice, and do guess what. JIGSAW PUZZLES, that's what! His friend, Mila Yeh,(sounds like my-la yay!) is his detectve partner, and his friend, helps him solve mysteries.

In the story, as Thedore (his offical name is Thedore Andrew Jones) walked in the lunch room, a chorus of voice yelled "FOOD FIGHT!" Mash potatoes fly. Meatballs bounce. And the whole entire second grade(he's in second grade like me,too.) gets in BIG trouble. They blame Joey. But "I" know that Joey is the last guy on earth that would throw food. He would much rather eat it.
I'd read this book a millon times. I guess that reading theese chapter books can bring me funny thoughts.
I hope I can read even MORE of the Jigsaw jones series.

My first book

The book I wrote is called The Case of the Missing spooky Haunted House. I wrote 11 pages and a cover page and a blurb. There are pictures too. I like to write books. I am going to write another book next summer.

After writing the book, I feel happy. I felt like I was a real author who writes diffrent books.

Writing a book makes my stomach feel jumpy and happy. I hope to write books every year.
If you are interested to my book, I can lend you a copy. (Either hard or soft is okay)

My first pet

My mom bought me a turtle. I named him Tommie. He is a boy, I think. He is a pearl turtle. My mom gave it to me as a suprise today. Tommie is very playful and hyper. His shell is hard. I like him very much. I adore him.

Even though Tommie is hyper, he is a very good pet.
I will take very good care of him. He is a year old. He will not even scratch or bite. Except I do not know why Tony, my brother is scared of him. I say that he is sacred.
Whenever I take of the lid of his cage, he tries to climb up and get loose. He is very funny.

I think Tony is scared of him because he has sharp claws. I think this is going to be my favorite pet.

My trip to Taiwan: Day 4

My fourth day was supposed to be my favorite day. But guess what? It did not happen. Even though it was my favorite day, I missed Taiwan. I went to window on China Theme park and LeoFoo Village theme park. I also played Bumper Cars and Merry-Go Round and flying cars and Rollar Coaster and Strawberry wheels and Pony Ride and Watchtrain and the animals and Feed the ponies. It was very fun.
But when I had to leave that country I started to sob a little.
This is my favorite trip in my whole life.

My trip to Taiwan: Day 3

I felt exhausted waking up that day. I slept with my brother Tony and Daddy. I woke up at early morning around 9:15. We visited the honey shop that sells different kind of tea and honey. After that, we went to visit the home of the king.
In the afternoon, I went to the tea shop.
Then we went back to hotel. And slept.

My trip to Taiwan: Day 2

I was not very tired and sleepy on the second day. That was because I had slept very good in the Brother Hotel. The first thing we did was to look at pearls. I almost even fell asleep because it was sooo boring. After that, came the fun part. We had a bath in the hot spring for about an hour 15 minutes. We had lunch some where called bla, bla, bla place. ( it really meant that I did not know what it is called )
At about 5:30, we walked and walked by ourselves to dinner. We were having free dinner time until we got back up to the bus. We slept in a hotel called Chinatrust Hotel.
I would like to recommend this place to you

My trip to Taiwan: Day 1

I had never thought that I had to wait six hours in the airport doing nothing. My mom had to wake me up at 4: 30 am sharp. I bet now you're wondering why I had to wake up at 4: 30 sharp and wander around in the airport for six whole hours. It was because the plane had delayed 2 times. I was supposed to be on the plane at eight- o' clock, and arrive at Taiwan at about nine- twenty. But the Travel Agent named Kelvin, made the flight over booked. So he had to pay us about four- thousand five hundred. That was the first reason of why I had to stay at the airport longer. The second reason of why I had stay a few hours longer is because Kelvin said there was something wrong with the plane.
When we got there, everyone was hot. But the hottest was Kelvin. It was because he wore long sleeves. The first place we went was called 101 Departmant store. That day was kind of boring. Because we were supposed to do more exciting things. I slept in a hotel called Brother Hotel. The hotel was kind of fun. You are going to read my second post soon.

My brother Tony

My brother is named Tony. He is very cute and special. He is autistic, too. He wears glasses. Sometimes we get in a fight. He is from Venus, I think. His hobbies are, swimming, playing computer, play video games, and go to the toilet. He is born in HK. He is very tough.

He can run fast, even though he had a car accident. He is a great help to me sometimes.

My next trip

My very next trip is to Taiwan. I had never been there before. So this is the first time I had ever been there. I am going there this Friday. ( 28/6/08) Except for one thing. I am going to have to wake up at 3:00 AM on the 27'nth of June. And travel to the airport. I really didn't want to have a car accident, like that taxi that came in the news. So I insisted Dad to drive to airport and paid the bills instead of calling a taxi.

This trip is going to be great, I thought. This time, we were going on a tour.
I hope that I will have a wonderful trip.

A scary comic

It eats a worm from the bathroom floor,
It has a sore throat from the little poor mat.
It chases a cat through the little bat,
I get a big fat little pat,
from that stupid, dumb thing.
It loves to sing with his nosy nose,
I love to get a rose from the rosy rose.

My Blog

I love blogging. I love it so much that I always want to write a new post.
Also, I love writing. I like it so much that I got A+ every term in second grade. Actually, I got A+ in all terms of K1, K2, K3( P1), First grade, and second grade. I want to write books and get the books published. When I first got my blog, I jumped up and down yelling" Hurray! Hurray! I've got a blog! When I haven't got a blog, I was waiting impatiently to have a blog.
Now that I have a blog, I can always write in my blog.

This is a poem about my jungle animal

He quickly gobbled in one bite,
whatever creature came in sight:
a mouse that scampered to and fro,
a frog that jumped up from below,
a bat that hung from his left toe,
a fish that swam a bit too slow,
And a bird that flew a bit too low.

My Science book

Last night, I read a book called Inventions and Discoveries that Auntie Becky gave me. I read three chapters, Leisure and Toys, Exploring Space, and Internet and Games. My favorite one was Internets and Games. ' Cause I knew a lot already. Though I already knew most of it, I did learn some things. I also had to thank Willam A. Higinbotham. He was the first one to make video games. If he wasn't here, then I can't play my favorite computer game called Club Penguin

I know how to cook!

I started to learn to cook after a while my brother started learning. I got the idea of cooking from him. I got many ideas from him. Now I know how to cook. I know how to cook many things.
But I just learn 12 lessons. But I am particular about the food I'm forced to eat. Mostly, I hate vegetable. But in every meal, it is mandatory. That is why you should not be like that.

A rhyme poem

This is a poem I wrote today:

Down from high, out of the sky,
There comes a cloud after my eye!

My First Voluntray work

Today is my first voluntary work. I insisted myself to read louder, but I couldn’t. That was because I am shy. Like I said, I can be a very loud reader, but I can also be shy.
There was a book donation for the poor children. I was very hot. I read the book called Three Little Pigs. I felt happy for helping those poor people living in Tung Chung. I was impressed because I saw a baby carried with no parents, just children. Doing a voluntary work is fun. I want to come again.

The fruit of the holy sprit

The fruits of the Holy Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self- control, which most people can’t do so. Actually, I am one of them. That is because the Satan loves to bother people. So, we can’t actually help it. Sometimes people get under control, like when you get mad, you might cause too much anger in you. Being angry is not a problem, though. But causing too much anger in you is certainly a problem. Nobody can help you about it, so you should try solving it.
Look in the bible. The fruit of the spirit is found in Galations:23.
I can be a very good boy, but also, I can be emotinonal, too.
At school, I can be very positive and smart, but I can get sent to the princapal, too.
One day, I got sent to the princapal beacause the teacher saw me pushing my best enemy.
So don't be like a child like me.

My best friend

My best friend is Titan Lai. He is an eight- year old boy with lots talents. Titan is reasonable, cooperative, reliable, and trust worthy. He is a great friend to me. We always do things together. We have same friends.
I think we will be friends when we are in 3rd grade.

While mom was in the USA

The day before my mom left for the USA, I said I really miss her and I hugged her. The next day, on the day that she left, we had an argument. I wanted to bring my crystal babies to school, but she wouldn’t let me. That was how the argument started. I left to school in a huff, and when I went to school, I feel sad inside. When I went home, I received a letter from her. When I read the first line, I already started crying. The letter told me to write something to mom so when she comes back, she can read my letters. When she called home the next, I felt confident. It made feel much happier. I wrote three letters to her. This made me feel a lot happier.
This story teaches us to treasure every minute.

My New friend

My new friend is Harold. He is nine years old. Last night, we e-mailed each other. After he sent an e-mail, I e-mailed him. He became one of my friends. I am glad that he became my one of my friends. Although we did not meet each other, we are still friends.
I am very happy that I have a new friend.

Tony’s catastrophe

Tony’s saddest catastrophe is when he had his car accident.
One day, while I was at home, my parents and Tony did not come home. Then all of a sudden, my parent’s friends came to my home and told us that he had an accident, and he was sent to the Prince of Wales hospital. And of course, my parents stayed in the hospital with him. So guess what? Every time I went to church, I don’t want to stay there, Instead, want to stay in the hospital, spending time with my brother, Tony. So that counts as my catastrophe, too. Also, I made a warmer welcome for Tony, my brother.

Gareth has a blog!

I love writing, so I begged Mom to help me create a blog.

I am so glad that I finally have my very own blog!
